THE TRACK is inspired by a true story. One night, a five-star hotel unexpectedly donates a luxury room to a local day shelter for rough sleepers. At the shelter, Grace, a thoughtful but weary volunteer, hands out tokens for food, clothing, and showers while a glossy daytime presenter barks from the communal TV, scolding an empty £250,000 house.

When Nate, a former teacher and loyal visitor of the shelter, is offered the hotel stay, he’s turned away by an unsympathetic receptionist due to a simple mistake in his personal details. Later that night, Grace stumbles upon him. In a moment of fear and compassion, she calls her boyfriend to take Nate into their nearby flat. But the cold has already taken hold and may prove his greatest threat.
