KULTY is a safe, inclusive community for women, non-binary and gender-queer filmmakers, including trans women and anyone exploring their gender. It exists to connect, support, and champion filmmakers who are too often excluded from traditional industry spaces.

Founded by Louisa Connolly-Burnham, KULTY was created to offer something more open, generous, and human than the usual gatekept networks. A space where filmmakers can share opportunities, ask questions, celebrate each other’s work, and support one another while navigating an often opaque industry.

The community has grown to around 1000 brilliant and passionate filmmakers, spanning writers, directors, producers, editors, and creatives at every stage of their careers. Members include emerging voices alongside Oscar, BAFTA, and BIFA winners.

At its core, KULTY is built on solidarity, care, and collective progress. It’s a place to connect, learn, and build meaningful creative relationships, without hierarchy or ego.
